Less of a question and more of an accusation
An accusation as to whether this is a fling or something real
Forcing you to reveal how you really feel
There’s no right answer.
You’re left with a choice
Whether to push on towards the eventuality of the dreaded ‘relationship’
Or simply let go
And cast your line in another direction
As they say
There’s plenty of fish in the sea.
But you know what you see in her.
The undeniable truth is that
While you were playing mind games
You took your eye off the ball
Lost control and took a fall
Into the abyss that some refer to as
“Feelings”
So before you nonchalantly stroll out of her life
Consider carefully,
Are you walking out of another fling
Or did you just lose your wife?
