The Pointlessness of Beauty outside CHRIST:
Besides the health risks, the pursuit of beauty at all cost, just to meet the demand of society and to woo a man, is an abomination to God. God expects you as the work of His hand to be thankful for how He has created you, and maintain your body moderately, without violating His Word by the unwholesome and ungodly things you do to your body.
Everything God made is good and beautiful (“And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.”
Genesis 1:31 KJV). He made all humans unique and beautiful in different ways, but sin has put a stain and blemish on us, making us ugly, scarred and deformed. We may cover the scars with all kinds of beauty treatment, plastic surgeries, make-up, and the latest fad and fashion. We may think that good looks and elegant appearance will replace the ugliness inside of us, but the sad truth is they can’t. The ugliness inside us makes us dirty before God and obnoxious to Him. I repeat, physical beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, and as far as God is concerned, true beauty is in the inside- in your character as a woman and not in your looks. The Holy Scripture says, “Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: But a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.”
Proverbs 31:30 KJV.
The fear of God makes a woman beautiful in His sight, and that fear begins when you surrender your life to JESUS through repentance from all known sins, including the worldly treatment of your body, the plastic surgeries and tattoos, the eye shadows, lipsticks, bikinis and transparent dresses you wear. JESUS shed His blood on the Cross to make your life beautiful before God.
The society says that the perfect woman is beautiful and sexy. Her looks are the first thing that men or other women notice. The mind of the woman is noticed much later, sometimes as long as even after marriage. Assume that is true, then the man that marries her is in a big surprise and her marriage is an accident waiting to happen, if she is not beautiful inside. Beauty doesn’t begin and end with what can be seen. An English philosopher, Francis Bacon, says, “The best part of beauty is that which no picture can express’. What truth is embedded in those words! There’s a kind of beauty that emanates from within, the kind that attracts people to the Lordship of Christ, the kind that JESUS aptly described as light when He said, “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in Heaven.”
Matthew 5:14, 16 KJV. This is the beauty of a Holy life, a life of godliness.
The Path to True Beauty: is You may look beautiful, “pretty”, sexy”, “hot”, “elegant”, and “delectable”, but if you don’t have inner beauty, you are the ugliest thing on earth to God. True, satisfactory and fulfilling beauty comes only from Him; He’s the One who can give beauty for your ashes: “to appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He might be glorified.”
Isaiah 61:3 KJV.
So, what kind of beauty mix do you want to have, make-up and makeover or a blush of modesty and moral uprightness? Do you prefer the make-up and makeover that just make you beautiful outwardly or the inner beauty that makes your whole life beautiful? The choice is absolutely yours! As Jamieson Fousset says,”Have the blush of modesty on thy face instead of paint, and moral worth and discretion instead of gold and emeralds”
Your life will be beautiful and elegant if you allow God to give you His beauty. You will be happier, you will make your husband happy, and have a blissful marriage.

THE DECISION OF THE WISE:

Let us examine ourselves in the light of God’s word. The Word of God has stated what He requires from us. The word of God says:
“And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, As in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to hearken than the fat of rams.”

“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:”

WHAT LIES BEYOND THE GRAVE:

There IS a life After Death, and you MUST prepare for it.
No matter how good you have been or how wicked you may be, you are a sinner in God’s sight.
Good works, money or any religious ordinance can never save your soul.
God’s only Son, The LORD JESUS CHRIST, died on the Cross of Calvary to purchase Salvation for you through the shedding of His own precious Blood. He then rose again, triumphant and victorious.
WHAT LIES BEYOND THE GRAVE:
There are five solemn facts regarding What Lies Beyond The Grave that I want to deal with, facts that are so very important that to ignore them is to knowingly disregard the warnings and danger signals that God has given to us in His perfect Word-The Bible.
Therefore, BEWARE!
FIRST: Not Everyone Will Be Saved:
There is no such thing as universal Salvation; some people will be saved, others – lost.
Make no mistake, let no one deceive you – a day of separation is surely coming, a separation of the wheat from the tares, the good from the bad, the sheep from the goats , the saved from the lost.
On one side or the other every man and woman will be placed.
This is the solemn message of the Bible over and over again; and the question is, will you be among the saved or the lost?
SECOND:
The Majority Will be Lost:
Many does not mean few. Many means many. “Strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it”
(Matthew 7:14) Few does not mean many. Few means few. There will be many on the broad way and few on the narrow way.
THIRD: Many Will Perish who Expect to be Saved: This is the saddest fact of all. Multitudes who confidently expect to be in Heaven will awaken when it is too late to find that they have never been born again. All their lifetime they have been deceived. Satan has kept the scales on their eyes to the very last and finally, when it is too late, the scales fall off and they realise that they have never been saved!
What an awful thought! -to be on a false foundation, unsaved, Self-deceived, and lost eternally. Profession without possession and the door of Mercy closed!.
Oh my friends, can it be possible that this will be your doom? I pray it will not be so, but the decision is yours.
Has Satan blinded your eyes; are you deceived?
You who have probably listened to the Gospel all your life; you who had probably been brought up in a Christian Home and trained in the Sunday School, you who have been an active member of the church- tell me, are you resting on a false foundation; and will you discover when it is too late that you were never saved at all?
FOURTH: There Is No Salvation After Death: We read in God’s Word of a great gulf. We are told two things about this gulf. First, it is fixed. That means it can never be moved. It is permanent.
Second, it is impassible. No one can cross from one side to the other. This means that there is no second chance in spite of what others have to say about it. If you, my friends die unsaved, you will remain unsaved. The Bible does not offer a glimmer of hope to anyone who rejects JESUS Christ in this life ( if you are living in disobedience, you are rejecting the LORD). There is no hope beyond the grave, no second chance.
“They profess that they know God; but in works they deny Him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.”

FIFTH: This May Be Someone’s Opportunity: “ Yes, I would like to be an obedient Christian, and intend to be sometime,” said a man to his friend one day,” but I want to enjoy the pleasures of the world First”
“Well, that’s all right,” responded his friend. “Go on and enjoy the world! You can become a real Christian afterwards”
“But just when should I become a real Christian?” Inquired the other, in a somewhat anxious tone of voice.”
“Oh, five minutes before you die will be the time enough,” replied his friend in a casual sort of way.
“But I don’t know when I am going to die,” he exclaimed. “I may not have another five minutes to live”
“In that case,” remarked his friend, “ the time to become a real Christian is now”
“Boast not thyself of tomorrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.”
Proverbs 27:1 KJV.
You may have another chance, but remember, there is a time coming when you will not, when you will have to make the final choice.
Oh! Then be warned before it is forever too late or you will be lost and lost eternally, for remember that God has said, “ “My Spirit shall not always strive with man”….

“If ye love Me, keep My commandments.”

HE PAID IT ALL:
He made the choice.
He took your place.
He bore our anguish and sorrow in the worst way possible.
He was sounded, beaten, pierced, knocked down, and dragged around; there couldn’t have been a more pathetic sight(Isaiah 53). So much humiliation and rejection for the Only begotten of God; and then His eventual crucifixion on the Cross.
But then, that could have been me; it could have been excruciating pain and humiliation because every human born of a woman is ridden with sin :Romans 3:23: “for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”

Isaiah 53:6: “All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all.”

And has a death sentence hanging over his head:”For the wages of sin is death”. Our LORD JESUS chose to pay our wages with His Life, He paid all that we owed so we will not face God’s wrath.
You must know that nothing else would have sufficed. Nothing but the Blood of JESUS Christ could compensate for the sinfulness of man. No human effort, almsgiving, animal sacrifices or selflessness could have done it. Even if you shed your own blood, it still won’t do. Only the Blood of JESUS can save humanity. Some people try to earn Salvation by being busy in the house of God. They are at the forefront, volunteering for any work that needs to be done in the Church. Some would boast about how moral they have been; while there are those who think they can buy their way out with cash by donating money to charity, and to the church. All the money in this world can’t pay for the sins of a single man, let alone pay for the sins of the whole world. All human effort to earn Salvation is a fruitless venture that can’t save anyone from the consequences of sin—death.
Why continue to struggle on your own, when JESUS has already paid the price for you?
Why remain in that filth of sin when JESUS has already given you a way out?
He paid it all and put the devil in his place—under His feet, where he belongs. He paid it all so we can experience the thrills of an intimate relationship with God. He paid it all so we can freely serve our maker without being held back by sin, addiction, guilt, a sense of filthiness and worthlessness, fear, oppression, society and so on.
Dear listeners, all that is needed from you is to repent of your sins and acknowledge that JESUS died for you on the Cross, and that His Precious Blood can cleanse you from sin, and the consequences of sin. Come to Him today, invite Him into your heart to be your LORD and Saviour, make a decision to obey Him, and never go back to the sins of the past. He is waiting at the door of your heart; waiting for you to ask Him in.
Delay no longer.
“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”
