Hello there π
Of recent I’ve been on a self-discovery mission; not because I lost myself but because I want to know more about myself.
What more about myself could I possibly want to know after all these years of existence? Believe me when I tell you some aspects of yourself are totally hidden until a circumstance shines an unforgivingly bright light upon them and you’d be shocked at what you find yourself saying or doing.
So, in order to minimize the shock, I am taking measures to unravel the deep that is in my soul. The human mind is a never ending tunnel in my opinion, you never quite know where it stops because it keeps expanding. You gain knowledge daily either actively or passively which is also how you learn about more situations and it puts you in a position to think “what would I do if that was me?”.
Your mind is the most honest thing about you, you can have mastered the art of exuding happiness at all times but in your enclosed mind you may have issues that don’t give you much to smile about.
So get to know yourself. When you feel irritated trace your steps back to before the irritation began and dissect why that thing/person/action was able to irritate you. You could even go the step further and think up plans as to how to avoid getting irritated in cases where you cannot avoid the irritant – and the same applies on the flip side, when you feel really good try to trace the source – everyone would be a lot happier if they could identify the beginning of their good moods so they could replicate them and be happier more often – it’s your mind you can do what you like in there!
Happy Discoveries xo
