Human Realisation:
As I have told you earlier in the previous column that there is the Divine presentation and the human realisation in marriage. We have looked at the divine presentation, now let’s consider the human realisations. What does this mean? It simply means that God’s command which demands that as long as two people (a man and a woman) have come together in marriage, they must stay together till death separates them, must be absolutely obeyed. And for this to be possible, couples must realise what hindrances they must remove to realise the peace of God meant for their home 🏠.
Here are some of the hindrances married couples must remove from their lives and home 🏠 in order for the peace of God to reign continually there.
Galatians 5:19-21 reads:
“Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: …….”

Of what relevance are these? You may ask.
The relevance is that these things keep you away from having the best of God in your marriage. If for instance, a married man or woman goes into adultery, he or she loses his or her peace, dignity, self-respect, and of course God’s presence and blessing.
Any of the above-listed is a veritable destroyer of joy, Peace and Harmony in Marriage. Uncleanliness breaks the home 🏠, idolatry rips the family’s unity; sorcery is a hindrance to the manifestation of God’s glory in marriage;
self-centredness removes love ❤️ from the family; drunkenness ruins the home 🏠. There is no end to the havocs these evils can cause in any marriage. And if couples do not get rid of these evils they stand the risk of losing out of God’s Kingdom at the end of time.
May that not be our portion in JESUS Mighty Name Amen 🙏🏾.
