CHILD TRAINING BUILDING FOR TOMORROW:
For Those Who Are Sterile:
There’s a word for those who are sterile. God’s word says in Psalm 127:3-5:
“Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.”
Psalms 127:3-5 KJV.
The fifth verse reveals that sterilisation is contrary to God’s perfect will for the family. Families in the United States, Europe, Africa and Asia and many other parts of the world may try to rationalise it; but it is crystal clear from the plan of God for the family that sterilisation is contrary to HIS will. This idea is driven home in a more vivid way in Psalm 128:1-6.
“Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in His ways. For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee. Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table. Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD. The LORD shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life. Yea, thou shalt see thy children’s children, and peace upon Israel.”
Psalms 128:1-6 KJV
This seems hard for some people to believe. But you need to meditate on it.
We have clearly seen that children are gifts from God. Primarily because of the nature of children, we must handle them with care. The attitude of parents towards their children must be that of love 💖, care, comfort, security, and confidence. This is not to say that you, as parents, must indulge your children. Caring is not killing.
I am going to give seven reasons why you should care for your children.
FIRSTLY: You must take care of your children to show appreciation to God who has given them to you. Just as you take care of gifts clothes, shoes, books and flowers in appreciation of the care and love of the person who gave them to you, so must you take care of your children who are gifts from God Almighty.
SECONDLY: You should take care of your children because of their value. The value and potentials of children for the Gospel of Christ, the society and humanity as a whole Cannot be easily evaluated. In order to develop the potentials of your children, you need to take care of them.
THIRDLY: You should take care of your children to avoid the pains and pangs of loss, if you carelessly lose them to devourers and deceivers.
THE FOURTH REASON: Why you must take care of your children lies in the judgement which will befall any parents who neglect them. The servants who laid waste their talents were judged. Eli was punished because of the neglect of his children. Anyone who does the same will be punished too. In order to escape this punishment and judgement, you need to take care of your children 👶.
THE FIFTH: Reason for caring for your children is in Proverbs 23:24-25,
“The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice: and he that begetteth a wise child shall have joy of him. Thy father and thy mother shall be glad, and she that bare thee shall rejoice.”
Proverbs 23:24-25 KJV
This Scripture talks about the father’s REWARD for properly training his child. Parents will be happy and joyful if their children are properly trained.
SIXTHLY: As you take care of your children, you are providing priceless and unforgettable gifts for your family, the Church and the Nation. Your children may become University Lecturers, State Governors, and even Presidents of Nations in the future. The truth is that the gifts of God, whom your children are to you, might become your own gifts to the world in future. John Wesley, Martin Luther, Moses, and host of others were their parents gifts to the world 🌍. Your children can be gifts 🎁 to the world too but you have the responsibility to bring them up in the nature and admonition of the LORD.
SEVENTHLY: The ultimate purpose of spending eternity in joy and glory with the children whom God has given you compels you to take care of your children. God does not want any of your children to perish.
“Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.”
Matthew 18:14 KJV
Our children shall not perish but they shall flourish in the name of our LORD and Saviour JESUS CHRIST amen 🙏🏾
“The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.”
Psalms 92:12-13 KJV.
These seven reasons should motivate you to take care of your children. And if you have been neglecting your children 👶 you need to turn a new leaf.
Till Next Month if our LORD JESUS tarries.
WATCH & PRAY 🙏🏾
“For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your LORD doth come. But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his Lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? Blessed is that servant, whom his Lord when he cometh shall find so doing.”
Matthew 24:38-46 KJV
“Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from Heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
Remember Lot’s wife.”
Luke 17:28-30, 32 KJV
May the LORD keep and preserve our souls and help us to remain steadfast until we meet Him in His Kingdom in peace in the name of the LORD JESUS Amen 🙏🏾
