Every year, I get new clothes among my birthday gifts and I love it! As old as I am, birthdays are still very special to me and so when I got the idea of what I’d do to celebrate this year, it was very unexpected.
God told me, and I mean audible telling during a time of prayer, (which is rare, we have a bible or Dream line of communication, but He switched it up this time) that this year I’m going to be the one giving clothes to people on my birthday. It was so different, birthdays in the past have ranged from movie nights to parties and dinners, so you can see why this came as a shock to me.
Obedience is better than sacrifice, so I decided to heed His call and I am so grateful for the beautiful day I had with the lovely children at the Kersey Children’s Home:
It was an amazing day and I wouldn’t change it for the world. Shout out to my awesome friends that came out to support me, we had a super fun time with the children!
