Hey lovelies,
I hope you’re doing pretty good. I’m on a long road trip to Cornwall with my girls, and I look forward to writing all about this trip soon! In the meantime I want to write about a phenomenon that many people experience, including myself.
So you’ve been working super hard to achieve a particular goal, and you finally do it, thinking “yeah I’ve done it”, but then you realize that things aren’t as they’re “meant” to be. Things are not clear cut, and there are far more shades of grey than you’d ever seen on a palette. It has you messed up because…this isn’t what you signed up for.
What next?
You decide. Wait, did you really think I could choose for you? Come on now. Let’s reason together: the reason why you worked so hard to get to where you wanted to be, is it still valid? The circumstances you’ve found at the height of the goal, are they truly overpowering your reason for fighting so hard – or is it only a perceived threat?
Food for thought.
Till next time,
Dr. ETP xo
