My family is super dear to me. My parents and siblings, they’ve always been there for me. I love that we don’t have enmity or anything of the sort between us; this love is genuine.
Yes, sometimes we give each other tough love and speak frankly with one another, but it’s always followed by a reminder that we’re only having this discussion because of love.
My family had fun traditions growing up like Seafood Saturday’s, when my dad would bring home live crabs and lobsters and we’d cook it and eat altogether (whilst my mom made a more filling breakfast like moi moi and pap 😅).
Have my family members ever really had a disagreement? Sure. But reconciliation is always on the cards.
So with this post I say thank you to Dr and Mrs Peters, Isaac and Joyce for being amazing and always being a source of love – I love you all ❤️
Happy holidays everyone, I hope we remember that Jesus is the reason for the season and as we go into the new year, we’ll be expectant of God’s miracles in our lives – because I sure am!
