Hey everyone!
Last weekend, the baby of the house, Joyce Peters, graduated! Yes, she’s a graduate of Nutrition and Dietetics from Bowen University and we her family couldn’t be prouder.
Fun fact: Joyce did science courses in secondary school but didn’t want to study medicine because it’s too long (lol) so I was tasked with the decision as to what course she should study. I knew she liked food, she enjoys baking and generally creating meals – so that’s how we came about the choice for this course and it wasn’t regretted throughout the four years.
All roads led to Iwo, Osun state and we had a splendid time! Joyce was the Centre of attention and she deserved everything.
She entered university as a shy girl, hiding behind her elder siblings, but she found herself, she discovered her flair for photography, and she flourished. Joyce went from someone that took photos of random flowers practicing her composition to being one of the most boomed photographers in the entire university. She had a calendar and fixed rates and people came to her steadily, both within the university and outside. By the time she finished school, she was decorated with awards.
Joyce’s awards in her final year:
Clearly, she developed herself and is now a renowned photographer even before being a graduate. Sis has had a steady stream of income ahead of even graduating! When people say they know me through my sister I feel so proud, like the scripture “A man’s gift makes way for him” actually occurs in her life!
This is just a post appreciating the brilliance that is my sister, Joyce O. Peters!
Till next time,
Dr. ETP xo
