Recently, a state banquet was held by the Queen of England, the badass longest reigning monarch of Great Britain, for the President of China at the Buckingham Palace estate (to me dinner means food, I really need to stop being such a glutton), well while the economic and political purposes of the meeting matters a lot, I gained something else from it (let’s face it, that ‘important’ stuff bores most of us to sleep). The Duchess of Cambridge, nee Kate Middleton, also attended this banquet (now that’s more like it), she looked so gorgeous in red and don’t even get me started on the lotus flower tiara as well as those huge diamond earrings that were LOANED to her by queen Lizzy, being a princess must be the life yeah?

Being a princess is fun, I won’t lie (I’m my dad’s), you’re not responsible for yourself as you’re not directly on the receiving end of the consequences of your actions –ala the 12k Heidi klum heels you bought on impulse last week or the double decker pizza you bought that you and your friends ended up not liking – you do whatever you’re told – or not – and live for the moment, but don’t you think that’s just bleh… I must say being Paris Hilton ain’t bad but I’d prefer to be Ivanka Trump. why be Dangote’s wife when I could be Melissa Gates (get it? she who has no name??)
While being a Princess is the stuff every girl’s dreams are made of, the real power lies with the Queen, she gives the speech at the banquets that everyone is enthralled by and can’t stop talking about, she controls everything; her life, her wealth, her family, her country and even her King (without him knowing of course, it’s called the power of Feminism my dears, learn it, live it, love it).
She ain’t a slacker though, she pulls her own weight and is a force to be reckoned with because (in Clark Kent’s father’s voice) with great power comes great responsibility (or was that Mufasa, can’t remember now, but you get the point) while a Princess waits for her next allowance so that she can blow it all on one delectable Boohoo dress she found in a store, Queenita is busy, well, being Queenita – open ya eyes gIrl, there’s a life outside your next allowance and your boo’s account balance, grow the heck up! FYI, if you don’t work on yourself, those dreams you have (the ones Lupita said were valid, yes those ones), they’ll remain just dreams, you need to put laziness, excuses and the fear of the unknown behind you; it’s high time you started working towards your goal.
