Today I have some bad news. I’ve been duped. Defrauded. Stolen from. I don’t want to remember the amount *sigh*.
How? @Happiness_wears on Instagram (The name of the account that received the funds: Olugbenga Temitope Tubobo, GTBÂ Account number: 0153 1233 52). My very first experience of buying from a Nigerian vendor online went absolutely sour. They had over 4000 followers at the time so why would I think they were fake?

Once I paid they assured to send the goods, next thing I was blocked from contacting them on whatsapp, Instagram and my calls were being diverted to another victim of their crimes.

Thanks to the not so healthy services offered by the Nigerian Police, everyone I asked for advice concerning how to get my money back said I would end up spending more paying the police for their service than how much I lost – which of course doesn’t make any sense to go through with.
By God’s grace, He will replenish my finances – but to prevent any of you from going through what I did – PLEASE DON’T BUY FROM HAPPINESS_WEARS on Instagram!
Also, if you are an Instagram vendor here’s how to prevent looking like a fraud:
1. Re-Post your testimonials of good service.
2. Show photos of your delivery service; photos of packages being sent out/delivered. Help people believe you actually come through – internet shopping relies on trust heavily.
3. TAGGGGG Your customers. I can’t emphasize this enough. Make sure future clients can see people that actually buy your stuff and receive the products.
As for Happiness_wears please help me by commenting on their pictures telling people NOT to buy from them and if you follow them – unfollow them today! I leave them in God’s hands.
Till next time, xo.
