Guysss
Saturday 5th July was a blast! I drove down to London with my sister and son primarily to celebrate my darling sister-friend Isata who is getting married!!

Isata and I go way back to year 10 when we were 13/14 years old; been friends ever since and it’s been a joy to watch the transitions in our lives – so this marriage step is definitely a huge and emotional step which we’re all taking very seriously. Once Isata said this is the date and venue, everyone fell in line because to know her is truly to love her.
We also had the lovely Rachel of Rayandroses to do the decorations as she is Isata’s favourite event stylist and she and her sister actually went to the same secondary school as us (and also church for me) so this too is another long term relationship that’s been nurtured over years. So beautiful to see us all grown up :’)

So how did we get the bride to come you may ask? Remember how Samuel recently became a British citizen, well I told her that his friends in London were planning him a surprise party lol, even made a whole invitation card (shout out to ChatGPT haha)!
So we told her to dress up for a party and I’d confirm the venue later – we couldn’t state the actual venue because she had wanted it when she had thought she would plan her own bridal shower (hilarious I know) but they were fully booked for the whole year so if we told her it was there she’d be asking how how how and get suspicious lol. She’s been asking me for her “British party” ever since haha

Surrounded by love ❤️
It’s the palpable joy for me!

Beautiful ain’t she?

We played the make a wedding dress out of tissue paper game naturally

This little girl had so much sass I loved it!!

We played other bridal guessing games and it was fun as everyone got really competitive haha

We drank well!

We danced well!

We even made content!

As you can see, we had a delightful time and cannot wait for the wedding!!
Till next time,
