Making the most of what I have is a mantra I believe everyone should live by. When the UK government announced an indefinite lockdown a few weeks before Christmas 2020, I already knew it would extend past my birthday and sharply made peace with it haha. No point crying over spilt milk is something I say regularly.
So, I decided I was going to make the most of this! At work my colleagues had a mini Zoom party which was Uber cute, I took a break from my diet to eat pizza lool, watched “Soul” with my siblings, and then my amazing friend Iyebiye organized a Zoom party for me!
It was such a splendid day, all the surprise gifts that came along the day and those that came before and after have continuously made me so glad; people taking the time to come up with thoughtful gifts, had me floored with all the love!
This is a big year for me! 2020 was full of challenges which became testimonies, but this year! Remarkable is the word. I’m speaking it into existence – Bible says the power of life and death is in the tongue after all!
Thank you so much to every singole person that sent well wishes, prayers, gifts and even for the positive thoughts because I definitely felt the energy – I’m so grateful to you all, may you be celebrated always ❤️
